We bear good news for the world!

Parents are the first teachers of their children in the ways of faith. Baptism is the door to faith. If you would like to have your child baptised please give the parish priest a call. Baptismal forms and information can be downloaded here.

We welcome enquiries about joining the faith-family which is the Catholic Church. If you are curious or interested why not come along to a Mass or contact the parish priest?

The parish runs a programme for adults who would like to become Catholic. It is called the RCIA. RCIA stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults.
Those taking part in the programme meet weekly (with breaks for school holidays). The programme ends with the participants, if they so choose, becoming full members of the Catholic church at the Easter ceremonies.

Participants have included
people who have not been baptised,
members of other Christian churches or communions
adult Catholics who would like to receive confirmation and make their first communion
Catholics who would like to learn more about their faith.

The 2016-7 RCIA programme is entering its final stage. Through the RCIA we walk with those who would like to become Catholic or to know more about the Catholic Church. At the Easter Vigil 2017 those who are ready to do so become full members of the Catholic Church. If you would like more information or would like to be part of the 2017-8 programme, please contact Fr Sean.
